Asian Architecture Models database (Students who participate the Asian Architecture Model Database Project need to sign a Consent form).

These Asian Architecture resources are housed in the ALIM collections (Asian Studies Research Library of Monash University and the East Asian Collection of the University of Melbourne Library. They support research and teaching of East Asian Architecture and related areas, especially, the subject Asian Architecture: China, Japan, and Korea, taught by Prof. Qinghua Guo, at the University of Melbourne.

The subject considers the history of East Asian architecture as a whole within a systematic treatment of architectural design and construction, building science and technology, garden design and city planning. The course lays stress equally on architecture, gardens and planning with an emphasis on ideas and techniques. Topics include the formation and development of vernacular architecture, timber architecture, city, palace, garden, ritual architecture, tombs and educational architecture.
